Komakino . left this review about Cafe Rouge

As described below, a chain French-style cafe/restaurant which follows a similar layout to other outlets throughout the country (the name translates as 'Red Cafe'). No real ale - and why would there be? Stella Artois on draught and a few bottles in the fridge, including BrewDog Punk IPA and Estrella Galicia which I went for (£4.95 for the privilege). The shtick is to sit at a set-out-for-dining table and hope to get a be-aproned serving staffer's attention. Quite why you'd want to go through this rigmarole when there are proper pub options in this market town beats me, but at least you've been warned.

This is a French-styled cafe/restaurant chain. Not a pub at all, not even pretending to be one.
