A traditional old corner pub that seems to be having some work done at the moment with plenty of scaffolding around the outside. Hopefully they wont be touching the interior, as that has a certain dated charm to it.
It's the sort of place that probably hasn't really changed much in decades, with a rough wooden floor, and a mis-match of wooden tables. There's a pile of board games, table football, a couple of shelves of books and a selection of photo-art on the wall, much of it for sale. There is also a small courtyard out the back with a BBQ.
Food offering was more along the lines of snacks than substantial meals, with a selection of sandwiches, tapas, platters, etc.
Beer offering was a bit disappointing. Although there were four pumps on the bar, only one was in use offering Bath Ales' Jem. To be fair, it looked as though the BOB may have recently run out as the pump clip was turned round, but the other two pumps appeared to be unused. The solitary cider was Thatcher's Gold.

Nice enough place with a couple of decent ales on (forgot to note which), and a fair selection of other stuff including a cider. Was dead when we went in, though to be fair it was 1pm on a Saturday. Nice enough inside, quite comfy seating with a bare wooden floor. Pub sign is unusual.
