Well What can I say about the Queen Vic its a great pub. Really great friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from the landlady Rachel and her two black labradors. Loads of activities going on and from the looks of the photos on the walls they all look like so much fun. the Landlady said this is one of the greatest pubs in Barnsley and getting better by the min. Look out for loads of activities running up to christmas.

The Queen Victoria in Darfield, situated on Snape Hill Road, really is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is brilliant, with many friendly regulars, who take care to make you feel at home. The beer is cheap which is a bonus and the music is usually soft rock and motown themed.

The pub has theme nights once a month where people dress up. There is karaoke, and usually a buffet.

The pub also has activities such as pool and darts nights, slimming clubs, line dancing and even clairvoyants popping in from time to time.

The cleanliness of to pub is second to none, with the cleanest toilets i have seen in a long time in a pub!!

The Queen Victoria, really is, worth visiting.
