A mainly modern build, large eating pub with purpose built accommodation at the back. Fairly typical of this kind of place located a bit out of the way on the edge of the Moors between Huddersfield and Manchester / Oldham. The front is a long bar with the counter to the rear, off to the side at one end is the dinning room, apparently it gets stuffed at weekends with families enjoying meals, the food isn't bad at all. Bland décor and bland thin beers from JW Lees.
