Old Boots left this review about The Stanwick Inn

Double fronted pub overlooking the village green in a pretty Yorkshire commuters village. Has that rare beast, a public bar as well as a lounge which is also used for meals. Five Yorkshire beers on the blackboard, Skipton, Challenger and Pippin; John Smiths Magnet; Black Sheep Bitter and the regular lynchpin from Daleside. Usual uninspiring list of kegs, Fosters, John Smith, Carling, Kronenberg, Guinness and Strongbow. The cask beer is excellent. Traditionally furnished, the public is nicely part panelled with beaten copper highlights, super old dog grate open fire, all set off by white walls. Pleasant to sit in either bay window and watch the slow, very slow, world going by.
