Jonathan Wilde left this review about The Hungerford Arms

This appears to be a seasonal pub in terms of drinks possibly due to its proximity to the castle. So on my visit today no draught was available.

The pub itself consists of one main room with the bar as the central feature with a fireplace at either end. There is a smaller room off to the left from main entrance or if you enter from the lower car park this will be the first room you enter.

At this time of the year it feels like a pub that's imentially going to shut but I'm sure once the tourist begin to flock it sheds all of this.

Two hand pumps on the bar but only one had a facing clip which was Moles although not entirely sure if anything would come out given everything else available is cans or bottles.

It seems like a pub that had potential given its honey pot location but maybe needs a dare I say it more food focused owner to attract custom when not in the main tourist periods.
