On the edge of the city it has a large car park, grassed area with trees and childrens play area. It is at the moment a Marstons 2 for 1 pub/restaraunt with Banks Bitter or sometimes Pedigree ale.A big public bar is seperate from the large eating area which is on two levels. Wheelchair access is reasonable with the disabled toilet at the far end of the bar.The place is very popular with families and parties of all ages. The menu is quite limited compared with other 2 for 1 pubs but none the worse for it. The restaraunt is done out in false beams ,swirly plaster and cottage style windows. Its like revisiting the 1970s
