It has now been confirmed that chef Raymond Blanc will be opening a restaurant called Brasserie Blanc in this property.

This place has now closed down. I got the impression it was mainly a weekend bar and I guess it became economically unviable.

Recently installed a couple of hand pumps with London Pride and a guest which is chosen by recommendation from customers. Sadly there was no beer on when I visited on a Sunday lunchtime recently but as their busy times are Friday & Sat nights, when they have live music in the adjoining Blues Room, it’s perhaps understandable. Good to see a bar like this trying out real ale.

Quirky sort of place, more like a members club than a pub. Decent enough beer and although there is no real ale they did find a bottle of London Pride for me. Friendly atmosphere and you're more than likely to be engaged in conversation by someone.
