Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Camden Arms
Imposing old inn dominating the Upper Green, and still very much a hotel today. However, the central bar area is properly pub-like (albeit in an upmarket style). Smart, semi-traditional furniture in dark green leather and mostly attractive decor (including the hops above each part of the multi-faceted counter and a display of model buses and trams, but perhaps not the fake bookshelves...). Beside this, there is more of a coffee shop area (at least earlier in the day), and elsewhere there are several other dining rooms, etc. The obligatory Harvey's plus Spitfire and the seasonal It's Coming Home also from Shepherd Neame (£5.00) available from the three handpumps.
