Packed on my Thursday night visit. Very similar in decor to a JDW but without the beer choice. All the 4 ales on were boring national blands. After waiting for 5 minutes or so, without coming near to getting served I left it.

More tasteful decor than the 'spoons opposite, but in a similar style. Five handpulls but only Bombardier and Hobgoblin were on, most of my companions turned tail and crossed to the Wetherspoons for a wider choice but dreadful service. A couple of us stayed and the beer quality was actually pretty good. It has big screens, booth seating and nice tiled floors. There are some old photos of Hull and a Get Carter related one not involving a shotgun.

Ebenezer Cobb Morley was born in Hull and regarded as the father of the Football Association and modern football and was also the first secretary of the F.A.
On entry you will find the long bar on your left and lots of dark wooded furniture with fixtures and fittings strewn around plus I think 6 cask ales and competitive beer prices not dissimilar to the Wethy's across the road, although I certainly preferred this one.
