Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cricketers

Larger pub than it first appears if approaching from the town centre, although the sizeable car park on the other side gives a much better indication of size. Fairly basic furniture and decor within the opened-out interior forming an overall 'L'-shape, with a small raised seating area and pool table on one side. Several sports TVs and a few wooden benches out on the rear patio. A few food offers noted. The solitary real ale (Black Sheep) from the three handpumps had apparently run out the previous night, do had to make do with a quick pint of John Smiths (£2.95).

Alan Winfield left this review about The Cricketers

The Cricketers looks like a 60s built pub and this used to be a Shipstones tied house, it is in the middle of Beeston opposite the Commercial Inn.
Once inside there is one large room that is carpeted and fairly smart the bar is in the middle of the room with seating round three sides of it,there was only one real ale on the bar this was Shepherd Neame Spitfire.
The pub is usually very busy with mainly older customers.
