Nice little pub as AW says. We were driven inside by the chilly wind, though some hardy souls staying in the tent in the garden. Looks like they're running on reduced hours and no food, however the enthusiastic guvnor was doing his best in the circumstances and it felt safe. Just Hooky bitter and a another available, the bitter was tip-top. Looks like it would be a cosy retreat on a wintry night.

Well worth a visit but check opening hours.

The Hare and Hounds is a nice looking pub that has got a small grassed drinking area to the front, once inside there is a smart looking room with the bar facing, this room was carpeted and had a beamed ceiling and horse brasses dotted about the place, the room had comfortable bench seating with normal tables and chairs there was a Tv showing horse racing.
There was a seperate dining area up a few steps to the left.
This pub is a Hook Norton tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hookey bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Cotswold Lion and Diamond Reserve.
The pub had a few locals in and the landlady was helpfull in advising us which pubs stayed open all day in the area.
