ROB Camra left this review about The Thomas Lloyd (Lloyds No. 1)

A totally standard Lloyds No 1 converted from a Lloyds bank, so not much of a name change needed there then. For some reason this pub was totally hammered on our Wednesday lunchtime visit. It was so busy that I couldn't really get a feel for the place or check out much of the decor. It also took ages to get served and then my pint was only in reasonable condition. We drank up pretty quickly and went to somewhere much more comfortable.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Thomas Lloyd (Lloyd's No. 1)

The main feature in this Lloyds I noticed, were the decorative copper panels, which are inlaid amongst the dark oak panelling. Copper work is local to the area, so I thought this was an interesting addition to the interior. There was a choice of ten ales, I went for the Exmoor Wild Cat.

The Thomas Lloyd
A very large typical whether spoons. Surprisingly quiet on the afternoon we popped in. They had 8 real ales on, including the usual ruddles, abbots, deuchars, but also some local’s ales one being Queen Bee.
25 minute walk from the canal and 10 minutes from Warwick castle. The old town square has that continental feel, and is away from the busy bustle of the city.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Thomas Lloyd (Lloyd's No. 1)

A large Georgian style, former bank premises, in cream render, with partial rustication and patio

The interior is typical Spoons in the sense that it is foody and open plan-ish, but in this case there are sky lights and a decor of wood panel, blue, beige and cream, with some strange art. There are the usual historical information panels and silent Sky TVs on the walls. The service was ok, the clientele mixed and as usual, it was busy. We stopped for a coffee to start the day, as it wasn't even 12, when it struck the hour, i did have a half!

Beer; tap stuff, with the usual Ruddles and Abbots on handpull, along with a couple of others - Westgate Brewery's Flankers Tackle and the one i tried, which was North Cotswold's Capucino Stout, which was dying in the glass sadly.

I have been in worse Spoons - the coffee was fine!
