Will Larter left this review about The Devonshire Arms

A large roadside pub with rooms. The low ceilings are held up by stone pillars and wooden beams, though it's still possible to discern where the rooms used to be, from the placing of the fireplaces. The bar is in a separate room to the rear, with the counter facing a small area of seating, which was fully occupied by a group who were sharing anecdotes about gruesome meat dishes they had eaten abroad. The young woman who served me shared a look that included a grimace, and she didn't even know that I'm vegan. Anyway, the beer: two sets of four hand pumps, with Wainwright, Ringwood Razorback and Marstons 61 Deep. I went for the Razorback, despite knowing that it's not a very good beer; it was in good condition though.
