Close to a lot of bars in the town centre,this Wetherspoons is one place you can get a pint of real ale at the usual very reasonable prices.The choice was limited on my visit although the Thwaites Wainwright was OK ,there was a lot of interesting ale with "Available Soon" signs including a Millstone brew .What a shame,I hate this policy of ale teasing that goes on in 'spoons.Needless to say the Millstone didnt come on during my nights drinking.
The interior is not cavernous and the wood cladding design is interesting but the furniture is standard 'spoons.Popular with younger drinkers this is a good place to observe provocative ladies fashion but please dont drool over your pint.
