Olga Mathews left this review about The Plough Inn

The Plough Inn dates from the 1700s and has evolved into its present shape. It is a friendly and welcoming place, situated in beautiful countryside.
There are marvellous views of Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough from the conservatory restaurant (non smoking) and the beer garden.
The Pickles Bar has traditional pub games including darts, shove ha'penny, table skittles and dominoes.
Tetley and Black Sheep Ales, both brewed in Yorkshire, are available.
Food is excellent & not pricey, using local produce including organic meat and delicious gourmet sausages.
Vegetarian dishes available. Children's menu available, or lighter portions of the main menu.
I can recommend the Pan Haggerty.
