Not too bad a pub but not the best of the 4 in the immediate area. Its just off the main road and is basically a 2 roomed pub. Each room has its own bar and there are 2 handpumps in each room. 2 ales only on these with Ringwood 49 and Banks Bitter being the two.

The Duke of Wellington is now under new tenancy! Very comfortable and a lovely warm welcome by staff! Food served in the evenings.

This pub has a very busy bar area where music was competing with a TV and peoples converstioon. Leading from the bar is a small smart lounge which is set up for meals early evening. It has a dark wooden ceiling which adds to the ambience. Real Ales from the Marstons range were Banks's Bitter and Hobgoblin. One little niggle I thought spoiled the place, was allowing very young children to sit on bar stools all along the bar.
