The Cunliffe Arms is a Marstons pub located in a residential area off the main drag so one is not likely to just happen across it. At the front of the pub is a public bar with an L-shaped bar counter in the left rear corner. This supports a standard keg range as well as three handpumps that were drawing Bank’s Amber and Brains Rev. James. I spotted a dartboard and a couple of televisions for showing live sports, although there was some background music playing during my recent midweek late afternoon visit. The bar counter extends into the rear split level lounge bar where the same drinks as the public bar are available. At the end of the bar is a carvery serving area that wasn’t in operation, but food was still being served. The pie, chips and veg was priced at £12.99. At the rear is a conservatory with more seating and around the outside of the pub is lots of covered seating. The service was friendly and I thought this was a comfortable space so I would visit again if passing, which unfortunately isn’t very likely.

One of the better "estate pubs" in Wrexham (in spite of the "almost" flat roof!).
A good friendly atmosphere. Food 12 noon to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 12 until 5 on Sundays.
