Now completely changed by new management. No Real Ale and no pub atmosphere. As previous review, now more of a food outlet.

A very friendly and well run pub. The staff seem very interested and knowledgeable about the drinks they are serving. The ever changing Real Ales are served direct from the barrels behind the bar. The open stove fire by the bar adds to the ambience of the place. Meals are served lunch and evening and accommodation is available.

Has now given up all pretence of being a pub. Its an out and out bistro and only has 2 keg fonts on the 'bar', one being a cider and the other some obscure lager. Not that it was much cop but there is now no real ale. Its fair enough if you just want a passing pint but its not a place for pub aficionados.

Now a 'bistro bar'. Inside is a bit cramped and one real ale was available. a small outside drinking area is out front. Its not bad but sadly like a lot of 'bistro bars' its lost a lot of its charm.

This is a beautiful, relaxed place to come for food and drink. The real ale really hit the spot and the menu is delicious. The owner Blue was so friendly and introduced us to the locals. They have a lovely restaurant and log burner for winter evenings. Ideal for a romantic meal or for a relaxed quality evening for friends and family. I really cant recommend it enough,I cant wait for my next visit!!!!!
