Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Castle
Not very close to Gwrych Castle but presumably named after it, this is a JW Lee's pub on the road from Abergele's main shopping street towards the coast.
There are a couple of entrances. The one to the left leads to a bar area and a games room with a pool table and a games machine. The door to the right is a cosier front room stretching back to a further area at the rear, connecting all of the pub together.
There were TVs showing different sports in the bar and rear areas and I was reasonably impressed with the Halloween decorations. Background music was playing but it was inaudible.
At the bar, there are 3 handpulls. 2 were both clipped with JW Lee's Dragon's Fire, with the other clipped with Founders. Their Boilerhouse Craft Pale was the pick of the keg options. Unfortunately, there was nothing particularly remarkable about this pub.

Nice enough place on the road down to the station. Adequate beers.
