David Ross left this review about Wintersgills Bar

This century old pub hasn’t changed significantly in the three decades plus since I was first in it. It’s traditional in style and layout with a bar at the front, on the street entrance, and a lounge at the rear, both with high ceilings, chandelier lighting and ornate cornices and supporting pillars. A good draught range includes Guinness (at £3.05 a pint), Belhaven Best, Tartan Special, Tennent’s and Carling lagers, Stella Artois, Schiehallion and Strongbow cider, all at reasonable prices for a borderline West End pub.
