Will Larter left this review about The Coachman Bar

This is the public bar of the Buccleuch Arms Hotel, although the hotel has another bar which is reserved for residents except for quiet periods. This has the look and feel of a pub in its own right, with a fine exterior in black and white. The walls have been decorated with blown up photographs and newspapers of yesteryear, a theme which has been well executed. The bar counter is traditional and this is probably the best, if not only, pub in Moffat, being something more than the bar-attached-to-hotel that the others are. The back room has a pool table and two darts boards. There is no real ale, and I went for the Greene King Ice Breaker, which I've had elsewhere, though not as cold and fizzy as it was here. I would have had a pleasant enough visit here if it weren't for the fact that the bar was dominated by three dogs, who behaved like naughty children, starting games and fights with the seeming approval of all. Not my idea of a good time.
