Quinno _ left this review about The Farmers Arms

Recently re-branded from the Market Tafarn back to its original moniker, the refurb here is so new we could still smell the paint as we entered. Very modern inside, large and open plan with a rear area down a step. Exposed brick walls and impressive slate flooring. Upright piano spotted, forgot to ask if it worked. Two ales on: Wye Valley Butty Bach (very good nick) and the ubiquitous Doom Bar. Aimed at the mid-market spectrum there were prominent coffee and mocha promotions and a huge machine to produce them. Uniformed staff were friendly and took a great interest in our crawl route, helping to clarify what was open and was not. Lacks a bit of character for my tastes but worth a stop if crawling.
