Very nice multi-roomed pub,a Sam Smiths pub so only OBB on handpull, but its well worth a look in for the splendid interior, would call in again but would go for something in a bottle instead.

Very much a friendly local's pub, with a superb traditional interior. The pub consisted of a front lobby entrance with a parlour on the left, bar and lounge on the right. A snug and restaurant area to the rear. The lady serving was very welcoming and jolly. The pub also had lots of oak panelling. Defo worth a look.

A Samuel Smiths's pub so a traditional multi-roomed interior that includes a dartboard. Usual Sam Smiths's selection on draught.

Called in as we were passing and found the Old Brewery Bitter in decent condition. Under £2 a pint meant there were a few customers in here although the other 2 on the street were quiet. They had a few different keg Sam Smiths beers on the bar. There is a bar area, parlour and dining room.

This pub was called the Shire Horses in the early 80s it was a Samuel Smiths tied house then and still is now.
This pub still has different rooms the one at the front is wood panelled and there is one real ale on the bar which is the excellent Samuel Smiths old brewery bitter and at less than £1.70 a pint you carnt go wrong here.
