Not too much info around but its seems to have a chequered recent history. I found an article in a recent CAMRA magazine suggesting it reopened in Aug 2022. How it managed to get in the GBG Guide 2023 surprised me. I thought they had to be running for 12 months for inclusion.

The facebook page invites you to attend their two year anniversay in August 23. Which makes more sense.

Community pub - with a front room dedicated for dining and a tiny snug to the side of that. There is a beer garden but it needs work and runs along woodside.

HPA and Butty Bach on. HPA was OK but I've certainly had beer examples. In the hour I was there, the closest order to beer was Carling.

Food is home cooked, freshly prepared and my lunch time panini was good value.

Sort of place that you have to want to go to. In the middle of nowhere and despite being in the countryside, an area not massively popular with walkers.

The Masons offers a selection of English dishes prepared in very individual and unique ways using fresh ingredients from local suppliers. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday offering lunch and dinner menus. Special offers are posted on their website which also has the current menu. Chef and proprietor Matt Ace is passionate about his food and the restaurant menu changes daily to accomodate the seasonal availability of the fresh ingredients from local suppliers. This establishment is quite a gem with great value high quality food in a rural setting. The drive down the country lanes to the Masons feels as though you are in the middle of rural Worcestershire but it is surprisingly close to Worcester (13 mins - Multimap).
