Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Horn & Trumpet

Routine Marston's pub, albeit not quite what it initially seems, because the larger side bar - with pool table - isn't part of the of the original building. Apart from that, this and the front bar have both been given a semi-modern makeover which doesn't exactly jar, but is still disappointing given the heritage façade. Anyway, beer-wise, just Banks's Amber (£1.99) and Hobgoblin Gold available from the various handpumps on both counters.

A curious old building, with what appears to be the original pub part in front and a large lean-to covering the yard behind giving the appearance of a hall. The walls are decorated with a goodly selection of pump clips, however the only draught beers on offer were from the wider Marstons range and that sampled only in average condition. To the rear is a pool table and a dart board (if you fancy some furniture shifting), with a small outdoor yard at the back. Could be much better.

A large Marston's pub, consisting of a front lounge, which was traditional in style. The rear of the pub where the bar was situated was a lot busier. There was plenty of natural light coming in through the large conservatory roof. Four ales Banks Bitter, Banks Mild, Everards Tiger and a Wychwood Hobgoblin.

An end terraced Marston's town centre pub. A fabulous Georgian styled building, it is in a garish yellow with black paintwork. It has two storeys with a set of dormer windows. The upper story is plain with four sash windows, although one is now blind. The lower frontage has two entrances flanked by sash windows and neo-classical pillaters and pediments. There is a rear patio.

The interior is open plan with a few areas. At the back, where the bar is, we found a DJ area and wood dance floor. It was all quiet when we ordered drinks but a crowd of younger blokes and older women decended and the music got louder, the lasers lights flashed and so we escaped. The service had been fine. The place is laid our for food, but we didn't eat so can't comment on that. Musical pictures and mirrors were on the walls and i noted the front area was in red, wood and salmon, with a fireplace and a TV. At this point i hit fresh air and was gone.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Banks's MILD, Bitter and Sunbeam on handpull - the MILD was decent.

We got out just as it was getting really irritating. Seems a straight forward Marston's foody place really, with night life - it just got too loud!

Nothing has changed in two years apart from the staff and the prices which are still competitive. Marstons Bitter and Mild are amongst the best I have tasted.

A city centre pub located near the bus station and market and as such attracts a varied clientelle. It is all on one level with a long main bar area to the rear and two smaller areas on entry. Inexpensive food is available until about 6pm.Cheapest bottle of wine at under a fiver,a couple of guest ales and a good selection of keg beers and lager. Known localy as the "Bawd and Strumpet" ( a much better name dont you think )it can get very lively at the weekend on evenings. Wheelchair access is a tight chicane at the front door.

The Horn and Trumpet is a largish pub that is in the middle of Worcester.
Once inside there were a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the room at the front which was fairly large and comfortable, this pub is a Marstons tied house and there were four real ales on here i had a drink of Pedigree and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Marstons bitter, Banks's bitter and Banks's mild.
The pub was fairly quiet on my visit as it was early saturday dinnertime.
