Moby Duck left this review about Wheatsheaf Ale House

A Wadworth pub of mixed character, modernised but in a traditional style, with some additions of Old pub fittings it felt quite pleasant. Six beers on ,all from Waddies so I opted for a Horizon, not particularly interesting but decent enough. Not a bad pub and although the owners beers are not my favourite I'd be happy to pop back for a pint.

Lovely modernised pub still retains an alehouse feel. Large rambling space with a lot of room at the back. Beers from Wadworths

Two bar Waddies pub with a fair number of theirs on and a couple that look like they’re coming directly from the wood but local CAMRA say otherwise - misleading dispense?? Décor consisted of lots of wood panelling. Friendly guv'nor. Decent side patio. Quizzer needs a good shove to get your winnings out. My Swordfish was one of the better beers of the day. It’s worth a stop if you’ve gone up the hill.

Alan Winfield left this review about Wheatsheaf Hotel

The Wheatsheaf is on a very busy road in the old town area.
Once inside there were two rooms i went in the room at the front which was the smaller of the two this was bare boarded but it was comfortable enough.
This pub is a Wadworth tied house and there were five real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wadworth Farmers Glory this was a very nice drink the other beers were Wadworth 6X, Henrys IPA and two guest beers.
