Two room local (lounge and bar), fairly well kept from a 70’s refit (arched knock-through, modern black beams, solid-looking wooden servery upper and lower). Darts and football are the order of the day. Just Doom Bar on cask which was cheap and mildly palatable (NBSS 2.5). A sign outside claims there’s a theatre somewhere inside. Had a bit of character and life inside – a shame they don’t make more of an effort with the beer. Whilst the cask quality in RWB is pretty ropey bar the Bells the pubs themselves are of a decent standard, at least. 5.5

The Red Lion is a victorian pub on the busy high street,i went in the bar which was a decent enough room there was also pool room and a function room at the back of the pub.
There was only one real ale on the bar this was Courage best and this was a decent enough drink.
Not a bad pub and ok for a few drinks.
