Komakino . left this review about The Red Lion
A cute white-washed build on the main road through tiny Baydon which ticks plenty of boxes offering accommodation, live music, quiz nights as well as a couple of local ales (Ramsbury Gold and an excellent Two Cocks Roundhead Bitter for £3.50 a pint - Rosie's Pig cider on a third pump with a fourth unclipped). Proclaiming itself a free house, it was likely two rooms once before, you enter into a narrow corridor at the end of which has a small sitting room to the left and the main bar to the right with bar against the back wall facing the windows. Bare boards in the bar area along with some old photos hung on the walls and a small fireplace. Couple of friendly locals in situ and the landlord was an amiable chap. A couple of trestle tables out front are likely to catch rays in the summer months, although I'd imagine the road out front would be off-putting.
