We visited The Spotted Cow Inn on our way to Newcastle and I must say we were all very glad that we did. This is a superb pub with good real ale and fantastic food. The staff are great and so friendly too. When we finally had to leave most of our coach party wanted to return on our way home! That wasn't possible unfortunately but we will be back. - The lads from Preston
