Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dolphin Hotel

Located in a prominent position as you approach the town centre from the station, this solid-looking building still operates as a hotel as well as a pub. The large 'L'-shaped bar is formed from three rooms - the main service area (with a bar billiards table), a smaller area at the corner end (which is packed full of WWII memorabilia) and a larger area on the other side (with a pool table, and also used for live music by the look of things). Modest beer garden at the back - a bit tatty, but with some reasonable furniture and plesant enough in the sunshine. Three handpumps offering GK IPA, Hobgoblin and Doom Bar (£3.35). NB - Reputed to be one of the most haunted inns in the country.
