This is more of a food pub then a bar, but ok for a pint if your having a pub crawl around Arundel.
Good choice of Fullers ales both on draft and bottled if not a little pricey, but this is Arundel.
Not the easiest of pubs to get served but bar staff are very polite.

A formulaic pub I didn't really warm to at all. Stained boarded floor in an L-shaped boarded bar area with what looked like a separate dining area beyond. Framed tennis, football and cricket paraphernalia add a bit of interest, otherwise local framed scenes, a bit of exposed brickwork and a nice Fullers mirror. A couple of metal ads from Fry's chocolate plus another not recorded jazz the place up a bit.
Fullers, almost certainly once a Gale's pub, they had HSB, Pride, Seafarer's and Oliver's Island.
The HSB was fine, I didn't record the price but the barman was monosyllabic and verging on rude with his indifference.
It may be better on another day but for me there are much better options in this small town.

As others have said, this looks for all the world what it is – a hotel lounge. There’s a separate dining area to the right, which has a couple of interesting bits of decor – the original (now seemingly redundant) pub sign, and a wall containing framed portraits of past monarchs, as well as QEII of course. The main bar area has a lot of cricket related memorabilia on the walls, plus an enormous Union Flag apparently painted on distressed planking (possibly driftwood), and a framed history of the genesis of London Pride. All a bit unusual, but interesting enough nonetheless. Furnishings are standard issue.

Being a Fuller’s house there are no great surprises as far as the beer’s concerned, but they did have on Gales Seafarers and HSB, and Fuller’s Summer Ale and London Pride. HSD doesn’t feature in many Fuller’s pubs in London, and my pint was in excellent nick. Food is obviously available, but I didn’t get to scrutinise a menu. This is by no means a destination pub, but I found it comfortable enough and enjoyed my short visit here. I would be happy to drop in for another pint if I find myself in Arundel again.

Fully carpeted and looking every inch the hotel bar that it is, you might be expecting a bit of a poor review on a pub website, but you'll not be getting that from me. The Swan seems to carry it off just fine, probably helped by the fact that it's never been less than busy when I've been in.

Beer is from Fullers - there's more than just Pride: most of the range seems to be stocked and looked after well. I'd recommend this one on a visit to Arundel.
