This is a terraced gay-friendly pub and nightclub, with a rear patio area. It is located off a Georgian square and has the cobbled street outside. It looks a Georgian styled building, on three storeys. The top two are in undressed brick with a couple sets of sash windows, the middle tier having pink keystones above. The ground facade is in pink brick, with two doorways, although the one one the left was the only one open.

The interior has a couple of rooms. The entrace leads you past a payphone and a pay booth to the main room, where the bar is immediately to the right. It is a smallish room in a chocalte, coffee, red and yellow mixed decor, with wood floor and red ceiling. the far end has a pool table, but losts of music equipment and lights and glitter balls making this the dance floor area. There is a little sofa area to the side, with a couple of sofas next to a small tiled fireplace, all sitting on a rug, with a table and prints on the walls - sort of front room-ish. There is a sidle lounge, that i didn't see. There are a few TVs that were tuned to some charty music channel, which were playing at a decent level. The service was fine and the clientele a few locals.

Beer; no real ale. General keg choice, with no MILD.

I hadn't been here for 15 years, when it used to sell MILD! It is clearly aimed at the gay community and has more of a nightclub feel than a pub, with bog-standard drinks.

This is a gar bar, well no nightclub. Usually costs about £5 on the door at the weekend. They play chart/dance music and it has a relaxed atmosphere. I find the Greyhound to be a more female venue, the white hart on the other hand is a more male venue. They could do with a refurb at the greyhound.
