Soup Dragon left this review about The Spotted Cow

A nice, terraced, 19th century, undressed brick cottage-style, with some moulded stone work and a rear patio.

The interior is an open plan concept, with a central serving bar. There are a couple of areas on the left as you go in, one has a pool table and the other side part has table football in it. The decor is a mix of white, coffee and red, with blue seats and carpet, wood cornices and some beams. There is a stone fireplace and a number of TVs, which had the footy on at my last visit. The service is fine and the music, via the jukebox, always seems to be loud when i visit. The clientele is mainly younger, but is mixed.

Beer, well, no real ale, just the usual stuff and Bass and Banks's MILD smooth, so not much to entice. The MILD was fine though

Recently given a lick of paint by its new owners. The interior has been cleaned up a lot by them, as it was, till recently HQ for the Man Utd fan club, with Utd memorabilia on the walls and behind the bar, which was really grimey. The place is now fresher and neutral looking regarding football stuff. Not really to my taste, but it is popular, so it has something for the locals. Like several places in Blocko, it's one i pop into infrequently.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Spotted Cow

The Spotted Cow is in the middle of Bloxwich and on my visit it looked like it had seen better days with peeling painwork and a boarded up window outside.
There was one room inside and it looked like the pub had been opened out at some point, the room was a bit scruffy and there was also no real ale on the bar the keg beers were Banks's mild and Stones bitter i had a drink of the mild this was drinkable but nothing special.
