Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Beacon Way

Estate-type pub on the eastern edge of Bloxwich, but that description doesn't really do the place justice since it is much better than most of that ilk. The 'L'-shaped, opened-out interior retains a different feel in the two parts, with a quieter but smarter lounge and a busier public bar area with the pool table, etc. With a customer base extending across all ages, it obviously serves its whole community well (which is great to see). Additionally, not only does it do real ale from three handpumps, but the Abbot is supplemented by Hobson's Citra Mosaic and a decent Enville Ale (£3.30). Overall, with a friendly welcome and an obviously efficient bar team, this was an unexpected pleasure to visit.

Unable to give a review in full as we couldn't get in the car park for the cars belonging to the parents collecting children from the nearby school, but I can add the car park.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Beacon Way

A detached 1960s estate pub, with extensions, in white painted brick and scalloping decoration, with a patio area.

The interior has a couple of rooms. The main room is an L-shaped and is both a lounge and bar area. The decor is a red, brown and white, with white ceiling and with one end being a pool and darts area, the other, a lounge where the poker tables were being played as i left. There are a few landscape pictures on the walls and a TV, which was showing the footy, so there was no music on. At the back there is a function room that was once a restaurant area. This has a stage area and is in red and white. The pub had a mixed crowd of mainly locals (apart from the poker) and the service was friendly

Usual taps really with Banks's MILD smooth and Spitfire and a fair Spekky Hen on handpull, the third tap had it's badge turned round

All in all, i will go again.... and have, always happy to pop in here for one
