A detached 60s kind of estate pub, bland from the exterior, brick build with green paintwork.
The interior has two rooms; the bar is in white and wood panel, with Sky TV and a pool table, with trophies forming the main decoration. The lounge is also white and wood panel, with prints and lots of plates on the walls, giving a 70s kind of feel, in a nice way. The service was friendly, the clientele mixed, especially for the community bingo in the lounge.
Beer; all tap stuff really, with a decent enough Highgate MILD
The pub felt quite homely, the service nice - all of which i wasnt really expecting from the look of the outside. If they sold a real ale or two i would go back, as it is, its a little out of the way for me just for Highgate. Worth a visit if you are local though.
