Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Drawbridge

Large, estate-type Greene King pub with Flaming Grill branding, recently reopened after a refurbishment and notably busy early on a Wednesday evening. Not sure what it was like previously, but the various seating (and notionally dining) areas now have a light semi-modern look. Also has an area with a popular pool table and a dartboard off to one side. Five real ales offered from the two banks of handpumps: IPA, Belhaven Elephant session ale, the seasonal Ale Fresco and Un-Beer-Leveable plus Landlord as a guest.

Enjoyed our Robinsons Dizzy Blonde while sitting outside in the garden by the canal watching the narrowboat folk operating the drawbridge. Friendly staff and customers inside, but we spent our time enjoying the afternoon sun in the garden. Good atmosphere.

Bucking Fastard left this review about The Drawbridge

A modern build Flaming Grill pub on the site of a former off licence,it has the feel of an estate pub yet sits alongside the Stratford on Avon Canal towpath with fine views of boat crews operating the drawbridge. There is a concrete compound surrounded by a metal fence which acts as the exterior drinking and smoking area, while the interior is large, open plan and winds around an L shed bar.To one side there are dining type tables running along the windows overlooking the canal, opposite the bar there are high chairs, then a series of banquettes before a side restaurant section with no bar access. It's tidy but the Flaming Grill theme is never far away, and a glance at the menu shows a super value lunch option of two courses for £4.99,quality unknown, and a main menu of insanely large portion dishes topped off by The Trash Can Challenge at £19.99 served in what passes for a dustbin lid to accomodate the mound of food.Quite a few of the lunchtime customers looked like loyal customers of the chain.
At least there was real ale with a choice of Doom Bar and a good Everards Tiger served by friendly, chatty and quite cheeky barmaids which lifted the spirits.
Fine for a couple of pints, the food offering did bring to mind the fate of Mr Creosote ,so easy on the wafer thin mints.

Well described below, this is a Flaming Grill Pub Co pub and it doesn't disappoint.
Outside is large, modern, red brick and characterless with the bonus of a concrete terrace overlooking the canal which was well used on our sunny lunchtime visit.
Inside is open plan, carpeted with plenty of benches and nondescript furniture. It feels much cleaner and fresher than many pubs of this type whilst still being firmly of the type.
The barmaids were chatty, attractive and friendly which made our visit much more pleasurable than it would have been and whilst the beer choice isn't wide with Doom Bar alongside Tiger, the Tiger was in very good shape.
Well worth dropping in for one if you're passing.
