The Griffin is a Marston’s pub with a central U-shaped bar with a counter that supports standard keg and San Miguel. There are three hand pumps mid bar, but these were unused. Banquette booths are found along the front windows and more seating runs up the right. To the left is a pool table. The exterior of this pub is more memorable than the interior, however it’s comfortable enough for a quick pint.

An unassuming pub. It looks ok from the outside and is fairly generic inside. A U shaped interior with the servery centrally located. Lots of pictures of, I assume, Dudley gone by. A pool table is to the left. 4 handpumps on the bar with only Banks Amber doubled up and Banks Bitter.

This corner Banks's pub looks quite impressive, with its mock Tudor stone facade.

The interior is open plan around a central bar area. The decor is mainly white, with arty pictures and sofas giving it a more modern look. There was footy on the Sky TV. The service was fine, the clientele younger based at my visit.

Beer; no real ale, all tap stuff, with Banks's MILD and bitter on keg. The MILD was pretty cold.

Not my kind of place really modernish and real ale free. The younger lads seemed happy enough there though, so each to their own.

This is a friendly local pub. The regulars are welcoming and the staff are helpful. The ales and beverages are of a high quality. The food is affordable and nice.

Always a friendly welcome. The regular customers are a good bunch with a "bostin" sense of humour. The beers of high standard and the staff are welcoming.
