This is a nice looking undressed brick cottage style pub with central entrance. There is a patio area at the back.
The interior is a single L-shaped room around the serving bar that faces you on entry. The decor is white and wood panel, with red chimney breasts and a white ceiling. There is a well used red lino floor. There are a few gas fires and there is a dart board at one end. A few brass plates sit on the generally bare walls. There were a couple of TVs showing the motor racing and there was no music. The service was fine and the clientele consisted of a few mature guys playing cards and a mixed crowd in for a pub dart match.
Beer; no real ale, all the usual keg stuff with a rather cold Banks's MILD.
A nice enough but basic pub with nothing for the real ale drinker. Happy i visited though.
