Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Lime N Chilli

Very much an Indian restaurant nowadays, but the bar remains open to all. Tables mostly laid up for those dining, but staff relaxed about who sits where. No real ale of course, with just Carling, Cobra (£3.00) and Guinness as the draft beers.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Gateway to India

This is a Victorian detached corner pub and eatery, originally called the Ivy House. The building is of three storeys, in red brck with red and white paintwork, has several small gables with finials, as well as several projecting windows. The interior has a single room that i saw, which had a pool table and dart board - i assume there is a restaurant room too, as there were no menus out. The decor has cream walls, with white upper wall and ceiling, along with laminate flooring. There are brown perimeter seats and red chairs. There is a jukebox, although no music was playing and the TV had the footy on. The service was functional and a few mature locals seemed to be in. A few basic pictures are on the walls. Beer; no real ale, just the usual basic taps - i had a shandy, which was fine. A tidy enough place, just nothing for a real ale fan.
