Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Courthouse

Food-led pub doing surprisingly good business on a Wednesday lunchtime. The facade has a hint of brewer's Tudor, but the three-part, L-shaped interior has been given a thorough semi-modern makeover. For a town-centre pub, it also has an unexpectedly large beer garden. I found three of the four handpumps in use, offering London Pride, Ossett Yorkshire Blonde (£3.90) and Robinson's Trooper, with the fourth having its line cleaned for the next cask ale on.

Komakino . left this review about The Courthouse

Styling itself as a Pub & Kitchen, this was full with the hubbub of diners on my 6pm Tuesday evening visit, so something's being done right here, sequestered as they were into their own area to the right of the central front entrance. The area to the left was dead, save a solitary diner, and decor is a mix of distressed wood, leather, stone, carpet, booth seating and vertical seating along with obligatory muzak. Two ales - Wychwood Hobgoblin and Jenning's Cumberland, with the latter in decent nick at £1.60 for a half despite the slight rabbit-in-headlights service. Considering this place was shut up the last time I visited, fair play to them for making a go in this incarnation, even if it ain't my cup of tea.
