Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Guidepost

Surprising type of pub for its location, being larger, smarter and more food-led than one might expect. Retains two bars, one with a pool table and the other more of a lounge (with a slightly raised dining area beyond). Semi-modern furniture and decor in all sections. Well-staffed too. Just Doom Bar (£3.00) available from the three handpumps divided between the two counters.
