The Cocoanut is now more restaurant than pub, serving good quality and popular Thai food, booking is essential most evenings. It still qualifies however as you can still pop in for a drink but you may find seating options limited. Pride is the only draught ale now.

I paid a return visit to this pub today. The interior seems unchanged from my previous visit, and unfortunately the only ale on was London Pride, which was not in particularly good shape. One expects better from a Fuller's pub. The following from Aug 2010: This pub is essentially unchanged since Maldenman’s visit earlier in the year, except during my visit there was no HSB or Jack Frost, or anything else except London Pride. I don’t think that this is really good enough for a Fuller’s pub. I had to wait for my pint while they pulled the new barrel through, but when it arrived it was actually quite a decent pint. They do serve food at lunchtime, but only Thai stir fries and the like, which cost either £5.50 or £6. The standard was OK – not the best pub Thai stir fry I’ve had, but certainly good enough for a lunchtime snack. There’s a small garden at the back with plenty of shade from trees and shrubs, and with a handful of picnic benches. All things considered I found this a clean and comfortable pub. I don’t think it’s worth going much out of your way to visit, but worth the 5 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Kingston town centre for a quiet pint. It needs to up its game on the beer front though.

A local community pub, situated just off the Fairfield and a short jaunt from the town centre. Comfortable and traditional in style, the central island bar has the two main rooms seperated by an arch. There is a further small snug like room to the rear. Wood panelled walls, leaded light windows with green inserts, a good mix of seating with standard tables but also larger circular ones allowing larger groups to congregate together. Some of the latest trendy low sofas and tables too.. The lighting is to say the least, subdued, dark I'd say, I considered offering 50p for the meter..
Mirrors, paintings and photos comprise the decor, Fullers beers, well looked after, last night had Pride, HSB, and Jack Frost. No ESB though, is it me or is this beer becoming harder to find?
A pleasant spot for a quiet couple, away from the excess of the town centre.
