You should be a fortune teller, PubSignMan - the 'Gluepot' has indeed closed, and is now boarded up. Trade had by all accounts been low for many months. A sad end to what was once a place to get a really good pint...

Popped in here this evening as part of a mini crawl of pubs in the area and was stunned to find the place empty, save for a lone barman sat in the corner of the pub. As I approached the bar he got up to serve me but informed me that there was nothing available on draught and that my options were limited to bottled cider or cans of Stella.
I tried to quiz him as to the reason for this and he mentioned trouble with the brewery but was reluctant to elaborate. I didn't fancy a can of Stella so I made my excuses and left. I doubt this place will be open much longer and when I mentioned this to punters in other pubs later in the evening, they generally seemed surprised to learn that it hadn't technically closed yet.
A real shame as by all accounts, this was once a very popular local's pub.
