Steve of N21 left this review about The Three Horseshoes
The Three Horseshoes is a red brick and timber framed building close to village green and duck pond in the Suffolk village of Barrow. Internally the original pub building still contains a separate lounge bar with a traditional décor and then a public bar with snooker table. Then there is a separate dining room outback which from what I could see had the feel and charisma of a 1970’s works canteen. And then there was a decent sized garden out back that backs up onto surrounding fields.
Three beers on the bar which were the usual IPA, Abbott and St Edmunds, sadly the same choice I had been confronted with in several other GK houses which are ubiquitous in the surrounding villages.
Comfortable enough place on my one visit, but very difficult to get excited about this one.
