Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Uxbridge Arms

Fairly basic corner local with a refurbished L-shaped bar. Although Star are currently looking for someone to take the place on permanently, it was doing good business under temporary management on a Friday evening, and nobody took much notice of a random stranger calling by... Slightly to my surprise, I found Bass (£3.50) and Doom Bar being poured from two of the four handpumps.

Graham Coombs left this review about The Uxbridge Arms

A basic and currently fairly unspoilt local on the edge of town, however it is down for refurbishment and a new lease so things might change. There are two bars, with a very plain public bar at the front and a lounge behind although that seems to be mainly used for various functions and pool. In the middle are traces of an old jug and bottle counter. Cask ales on were Doom Bar and Bass, the latter being in good order.

Another local's pub and another with Pedigree - also two Doombore pumps. Just the one room.

Old Boots left this review about Uxbridge Arms

A corner pub a little way out of the town centre but worth dropping into. In contrast to the usual Burton style it’s a single L shaped room with an interesting ceiling painted with cards and dominoes. Three hand pumps with the inevitable Pedigree plus a guest from Dorset’s Wyre Piddle in good nick, the third was unclipped. The short arm has a piano as well as the more common machines, the longer arm has a video juke box and the seating here is laid out refectory style which is unusual for a non-food pub. The atmosphere is friendly like so many Burton pubs and its worthwhile to visit and not just to escape the all pervasive Pedigree.
