Soup Dragon left this review about The Junction Inn

A corner pub on a U-shape bend, in white painted brick, with black paintwork.

The interior is one long U-shaped room incorporating a few different areas. The general decor is one of red, yellow and wood panel, though there is some undressed brick and a white ceiling. There is a small dance floor area with large TV (silent with a music channel on!); this is where the younger people were congregated and were a bit louder - it has motor-cycle memorabilia, juxtaposed with plates and jugs. The room then curves around the central serving bar. This area is the bar/loungy area and is where most of the clientele are. It has a TV and a nice little fireplace and eclectic ephemera, such as a clock and old photos, before the room moves into a quieter area, with a little sideroom containing military memorabilia and books - including rifles etc, which is in yellow and wood panel and has a couple of elegant settees. The service was fine, the music, well general and at a decent level and not the stuff on the TVs. There was a busy mixed clientele.

Beer; tap stuff including Banks's MILD smooth and Cocker-Hoop and a decent enough Hobgoblin on handpull. Another pub worth a visit for one, and i do from time to time
