The Dearnsman is an 80s built pub that was probably built by Mansfield brewery,it is in their style and still has its Mansfield signs outside.
Once inside there was a large oblong shaped room to the front,this room looked quite smart with carpets and comfy bench seating and chairs,there was a pool table to the right and a TV to the left showing Grand Prix qualifying,there was a seperate room to the rear which was probably the lounge, i did'nt look in this room.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Banks's Original which was a decent enough drink,the other beer was Marstons smooth.
There was some decent rock music playing in the background.
It looked like a youngish couple had just took the pub on,i wish them well in running this pub.
