Everything is just as the previous reviewer states and still no cask ale but at least it was open on my Tuesday lunchtime visit which is more than what can be said for most of the others.

The Butchers Arms looks like a 70s built pub,it is situated on Swintons shopping precinct.
A sign outside said "cask conditioned ales here" this was a lie as there were no real ales here.
Once inside there was a smart looking room to the front with the bar facing, there was comfy bench seating around the edge of the room and normal tables and chairs, the room was carpeted throughout, there was s seperate bar to the rear with a pool table in it.
No real ales or even pumps on the bar,but there were two keg bitters,i had a drink of Stones bitter which was drinkable, the other beer was John Smiths smooth crap.
The pub was fairly busy early on a Saturday evening.
This is a comfortable enough pub, just a shame about there being no real ales on the bar.
