Will Larter left this review about Jenny Wren Inn

The front of this pub, as seen from the river levee, is unpromising, but inside is a delightful old pub with a beautiful carved wooden bar counter, wood panelling, an open fire and old fashioned pub furniture. We sat in the small bar which is accessed by the left-hand door as seen from the car park. There's also a longer, larger room along the front of the building, which can be accessed from the other door on the car park side or from the front left. There's bench seating on the levee and also near the car park.

There are two hand pumps on the bar counter where we were, serving Greene King Old Speckled Hen and Sharps Atlantic IPA. It was pleasant to spend half an hour here after a long cycle ride, but I must admit I was keen to press on to Gainsborough for a more impressive selection of beers at the Eight Jolly Brewers.
